Made in a very dry, very crisp style, making it different from the run-of-the-mill, slightly sweet PGs, and that makes it a really nice wine. With rich citrus, fig, melon and spice flavors, it’s a great cocktail sipper, and will go with a wide variety of food. Easy to find, with 300,000 cases produced.

This is one of the best buys out there for a dry white wine. At this price, you should stock up by the case. With its lemon, lime, tart green apple and honeydew melon flavors, and the crisp acidity that makes it so clean and tangy, it’s just a great sipper.

Woodbridge has done a really good job at producing an ultra-dry, crisply acidic white wine of the type California needs. With elegant flavors of citrus fruits, flowers, cinnamon and a touch of honey, it’s a superb by-the-glass sipper. Sommeliers should buy this by the case.

Lots going on with this affordable Zin. Dry and smooth, it shows exuberant flavors of black pepper, red currants, teriaki beef, anise and smoke. With a richly tannic mouthfeel, it will pair well with grilled meats.

A very nice Chardonnay that continues the winery’s success with this bottling. Dry and creamy, it has rich flavors of pineapples, pears, vanilla and spices.

Likeable for its extreme dryness and crisp acidity, and the way the citrus fruits and minerals tickle the palate and prepare it for food. It’s a great cocktail wine, with lime, Meyer lemon, white peach and floral flavors.

What a great bargain this wine is. It’s soft and delicious with blackberry, currant, brown sugar and creamy mocha flavors that lead to a spicy finish. It’s easy to drink this Cab with all sorts of foods that pair well with a full-bodied red.
