Wyvern 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon (Yakima Valley)

This delicious wine was so light, so airy on the palate that I checked the alcohol: 12.5%. You won’t find this in California, but you will in Bordeaux. The blackberry flavors, infused with smoky oak, are pure and elegant with subtle tannins. There’s a depth and complexity that make for added interest.
